VOLUNTEER WORK OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERNATIONALS
CEIHG personell consists of international and Nicaraguan volunteers. Available work for international volunteers includes: facilitating opinion polls of various sectors of the economy and society; investigation of official economic data; conducting interviews with various leaders and groups; analyzing, tabulating, interpreting and integrating data from various sources; documentation and photo-documentation; preparation of documents and correspondence; preparation of educational and promotional materials (texts, charts, flyers, posters, graphics, cassettes, video); preparation of class curricula and presentation plans; making contacts with interested organizations and organizing presentations; management of public relations; production and facilitation of theatrical and music production and presentations, lectures, workshops and classes CE; art production; administrative help, computer assistance, and more. Work tours can be from 2 to 6 months or more.

OPORTUNIDADES DE TRABAJO VOLUNTARIO PARA INTERNACIONALES
El personal del CEIHG consiste de voluntarios internacionales y voluntarios nacionales de Nicaragua. Trabajo disponible para voluntarios internacionales incluye: realizar sondeos de opinión de varios sectores de la economía; investigación de datos económicos oficiales; hacer entrevistas con lideres y varios grupos; análisis, tabulación, interpretación e integración de datos de varias fuentes; documentación y foto-documentación; redacción de documentos y correspondencia; preparación de materiales didácticos y de promoción (textos, documentos, volantes, posteres, gráficos, cassettes, video); preparación de currícula de clases y planes de presentaciones; hacer contacto con organismos interesados y organizar presentaciones; manejar una campaña de relaciones publicitarias; producir y facilitar presentaciones teatrales y musicales, charlas, talleres, y clases CE; producción de arte; ayuda administrativa; manejo de computadora, y más. Los plazos de trabajo pueden durar de dos a seis meses o más.

BASIC VOLUNTEER REQUISITES FOR INTERNATIONALS
To participate in the activities of the CEIHG as an international volunteer, a candidate must be functionally competent in the Spanish language, and able to satisfactorily pass the course "Comprender la Economía" ("Understanding Economics") via the free internet course offered by the Henry George Instituto de NY or via the Instituto's intensive two-week "Comprender la Economía" course in Nicaragua. (The internet course can also be completed in less than two weeks.) After successfully completing the course, you will also be asked to submit an essay to the Instituto Henry George which demonstrates your understanding of the georgist analysis and remedy. If your comprehension level is approved, you will be invited to submit your application to the CEIHG for consideration. You will receive a response within two weeks after we receive your solicitation.

REQUISITOS BASICOS PARA SER VOLUNTARIO INTERNACIONAL
Para participar en las actividades del CEIHG como voluntario, un candidato debe ser competente en el idioma español, y capaz de aprobarse satisfactoriamente en el curso de "Comprender la Economía" por medio del curso gratis en internet ofrecido por el Henry George Instituto de NY o por medio del curso intensivo "Comprender la Economía" del Instituto, de dos semanas en Nicaragua. (El curso del internet también puede completarse en menos que dos semanas.) Después de terminar el curso satisfactoriamente, el candidato también enviará al Instituto un ensayo que demuestra su comprensión del análisis y remedio georgista. Si su nivel de comprehensión es aprobado, el candidato será invitado a entregar su aplicación al CEIHG para consideración, y recibirá respuesta dentro de dos semanas después de que recibamos su solicitud.

PARTICIPATION, COSTS, AND COMPENSATION
CEIHG volunteers can work part or full time with the Centro for an indefinite period. Depending on funding status, The CEIHG may be able to pay a monthly volunteer stipend of up to $80 for part-time, or $160 for full-time work. Apart from that, volunteers must pay their own airfare, room & board, and personal expenses while working with the Instituto. The CEIHG can help arrange full room and board with a Nicaraguan family for about $150-$250 per month.

PARTICIPACIÓN, GASTOS, Y COMPENSACIÓN
Voluntarios del CEIHG pueden trabajar tiempo completo o incompleto por un período indefinido. Según el estatus de fondos, el CEIHG puede pagar una ayuda mensual a los voluntarios de hasta $80 por trabajo de medio tiempo, y hasta $160 por trabajo tiempo completo. Aparte de eso, los voluntarios deben pagar su propio vuelo, vivienda, comida, y sus gastos personales mientras trabajen con el Centro. El CEIHG puede ayudar arreglar vivienda y comida completa con una familia nicaragüense por aproximadamente $150-$250 mensual.
